OTTAWA-- December 5, 2010 --  The anniversary of the devistating earthquake that shook my community is fast approaching. On Wednesday, January 12 2011, I hope you will join me in commemorating the loss of lives, saluting those who have given generously to the quell the crisis, and showing solidarity to the one million surviving Haitians still living in tents with little but the courage that runs though their veigns.

Following the Jan 12 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Ottawa residents Rachel Décoste  and Oni the Haitian Sensation have raised over $20 000 in two days for the Red Cross and for the Humanitarian Coalition (which includes CARE Canada, OxFam, etc).  Join our effort! You can raise funds at your school, office or place of worship. Every dollar counts!

OTTAWA -- 5 décembre 2010. Nous voilà à l'aube de l'anniversaire du séisme qui a tant éprouvé ma communauté. Le mercredi 12 janvier 2011, je vous invite à commémorer les vies si durement affectées, les canadiens qui ont tant donné à La Cause, et réaffirmer votre solidarité avec le million d'haitiens survivants dans des tentes avec autant de courage infaillible que d'espoir.

Après le séisme du 12 janvier 2010 en Haiti,  les résidentes d'Ottawa Rachel Décoste et Oni la Sensation Haitienne ont amassé plus de $ 20 000 en 2 jours, au profit de la Croix Rouge et de la Coalition Humanitaire (qui comprend CARE Canada, OxFam, etc).
